The most widely recommended lucid dreaming techniques are DILD, WILD, WBTB and FILD. There are literally dozens of other lucid dreaming techniques; however, the four techniques listed above are the major and most effective ones.
DILD stands for Dream Induced Lucid Dreaming or Dream Initiated Lucid Dream.
WILD stands for Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming or Wake Initiated Lucid Dream.
WBTB stands for Wake Back to Bed.
FILD stands for Finger Induced Lucid Dreaming or Finger Initiated Lucid Dream.

What is DILD?
